  • That's very concerning. You have one of two problems here: 1) The oil pump. 2) The oil pressure sensor. Given that the sensor works above 1000rpm I don't think that's the problem. Get the oil pump replaced and see if that fixes the problem. Chryslers are synonymous with bad parts.
  • I would check your oil see if you need it changed or more added also check to see if the sensor is working properly as for the oil pump i don't think that would be it unless your leaking oil if so id have that checked also... the rpmsis another thing is your car an automatic... if so i would try to get it tuned to where it won't idle below 1000rpms and yes you can have that done
