  • Are you using original firmware or a custom firmware (CFW)? if it's original 1. On your XMB (Cross Menu Bar) go to System Settings & Restore default settings.Alternatively look on the net and get the latest FW update. Update the PSP then restore the settings. 2. If it's a custom firmware (Go to system settings. Then System Information) If the system software type ends in OE SE or M33 then it's CFW. So try going into recovery menu (for OE & M33: take out battery - put it back in - hold down R trigger - Turn on PSP) Go to Advanced -> go to Format flash1 and reset settings. Press x or O depending on your PSP type UK, Japan, US etc. Exit and try your games again.
  • Thanks for the info. I tried everything it said, but it still didn't work. I ended up trading it in to Gamestop and buying a new one. Luckily, the store personel didn't really check it and gave me 60 bucks. Then i just used a coupon and got a new 1 for 100. Fixed it for $40. Not bad?
