Looking for opinions. Do 40 to 50ish year old men like or not like to date widows and why?

I'm in that age range - and if I were dating I would only date ladies....not demographics.

Well, thet're not married anymore. As long as they are not carrying too much baggage(psychologically) and are up for dating agin...why not?

I'm in that age group. Most guys I known don't have rules like that. However, some might see a dead husband as competition that can't be beat.

I would date a widow, but I would kind of like to know how she became a widow, like did she do anything to her husband? Has she only been a widow once? You need to be carefull.

Some do avoid widows, because they can never be as good as the prior husband. I think the majority doesnt mind. -
I fall in that age group. My wife won't let me date anyone. She is funny that way.
