  • He once got angry in the Gospels. This account is mentioned in more than one Gospel, but this extract comes from Matthew 21. "Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.' " There's your answer. He got angry (righteously angry) at the vendors who were committing sacrilege in the temple.
  • Logician is right in his answer, and here is another incidence. Again righteous Godly anger. Mark 3:1-7 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him. Jesus was angry with the Pharasees for refusing even to help a sick one on the Sabbath, and also trying to bait Him into sin.
  • Some very important things concerning the pharisees also come to mind that haven't been mentioned. To quickly find out what He got mad at, just do a search for all the times He said "woe unto you." For one thing, Jesus was angry at them for making God's Word of no effect by their traditions (Mt. 15:3-6). He was also angry at them because they made a pretense of holiness and righteousness, and because of that, called them whited sepulchres, or graves, which look beautiful outside but are full of dead bones within (Mt. 22:37). He also got mad at them for shutting up God's kingdom to others, and refusing to go in themselves (Mt. 23:13-15). He got mad at them for stealing from the poor and making long, fake prayers (Mt. 23:14), thinking they would be heard for speaking a lot (Mt. 6:7), and thus used vain repetitions. He got mad at them for obeying the letter of the law in tithing to the exact amount but overlooking the real issues of the law, judgement, and mercy (Mt. 23:23, Lk. 11:42). He got mad at them for pretending to honor the righteous from ages past and trying to affiliate themselves with them, even as they persecuted the righteous of the present (Mt. 23:29-35). He got mad at them for swearing by the great things and condemning the swearing by small things (Mt. 23:16-23). To see mordern Phariseeism, examine Catholocism.
