Pretty much, if a song starts off with "Uh Uh yeah..." you know it's gonna be garbage.
Especially if that's followed by some guy mumbling crap, with intermittent blanks in the vocal track like the ____ing words have been _____ing taken the ____ out by _______ing ______ ______ _______ who ______ their ______ _____ ________________ and give a _____ to _____ ____ _________ ____ ____ ___________ party yeah... ______ uh uh... gimme that ________ shake that _____ _____ on my ______. _______. uh yeah.
I believe it's called rap. ______ yeah. uh uh.
Oh, and anything with a repetitive one note *DOOF* *DOOF* *DOOF* *DOOF* bass line, and usually containing a stolen guitar riff and/or lyrics/melody reeeeeaaaaally pisses me off. uh uh yeah. ________ ____ ________.

The only thing that I could possible feel tortured by, is the voices of these whiny, annoying emo/pop punk bands, they may have some catchy riffs and what not, but every single one of those singers ruins the rest of the band for me, I cant stand listening to them at all. I would rather not listen to music, than have to turn on the radio again and have to hear some kid whine about why there arent enough cookies in the cookie jar. Every single one of them sings about the same "tragic" events, and its begining to seem like most of them are just putting up a front so that they can sell music in todays comercialized crap music scene....

When rap has disrespectful lyrics it's pretty bad to listen to but it's easy to tune out rap music after listening to it for a little while. Once I got dragged to a death-metal show and though most of the people and the atmosphere was awesome, the music was pretty painful for me. I still enjoyed going though because it was unlike anything I've ever done before.
