it is reggie rockstone. look him up an african rapper widely regarded as one of the best of all time. it is not redman. and also, redman is not a member of the wu-tang clan, he just collaborates with them and in particular method man on a frequent basis. to get back to reggie rockstone, he is incredibly obscure here in america among rap fans but any knowledgeable rap critic will tell you reggie rockstone is one of the best of all-time up there with jayz, tupac, biggie, nas, rakim, krs-one, ice cube, big daddy kane, and maybe andre 3000 (though I dont know where jadakiss and kurupt came from). Reggie Noble is beyond highly regarded in the rap world (I don't say industry because true rap and hip hop is not an industry) for his infusion of reggae and rap in the early 90's. Sh*t, his first album hit 49 on billboard's top 200 in '92 - and that sh*t hit Gold.

For a hip hop artist, and one that still remains underground since then, is phenomenal. His lyrics, style and, above all, underground persona amplifies his presence as a dominate force in rap. Anyone who was a part of the rap scene in the late 80s and early 90s (and not some internet wannabe hip hop know-it-all 16 year-old) would understand that Redman's flow over sick beats as one of the most influential in modern-day hip hop.

But then again, this is the goddamn internet and suburbanite white boys think they know everything.

But if you listen to the reference in the song, he's listing his idea of the BEST hip hop artist of ALL TIME in his opinion.. and regardless of who's making that list.. NOBODY would put REDMAN before Jay-Z, Pac, Biggie, Andre from Outkast.. or even Eminem himself.. Its gotta be some underground artist he knows.. or maybe he's refering to Ice-cube.. who played a guy named REGGIE in the movie PLAYER'S CLUB

It is Redman that he is referring to.He is not listing them as a 1thru 10 type of list this is just the jist of the rappers he would even consider listing and also it sounded better and flowed smoother saying the names in that order.Trust me he has many more that he respects and would lidt but he was just trying to quickly make a point in the song and get past it fast thats what he does,he hits on one thing then moves to another subject as quick as he forgot the last one.And Redman is not part of wutang and never was he and erick sermon and keith murray were in a group called def squad.And whos to say Eminem wouldnt put redman above whoever,maybe he isnt like the rest of the rap listening world who thinks the law is tupac or biggie are the best or 1st and 2nd or whatever no matter what.Thats not the case with everyone,Redman has some of the hottest flows ive ever heard and he is quite original and clever with his wordplay,everysong doesnt sound the fukkin same like lil waynes bullshit so it is possible that Em likes Reds shit better then Pacs Or Bigs even if just a lil.So like Red once said several times on a track = "FUCK YOU!!!"
