no! diet soda's are twice as bad for you as regular soda's. you see the fake flavors and sweetners they put in the diet soda's to replace real sugar will actually make you fatter. your body does not reconize fake sweetners so it does not know how to effectivly diggest it hents instead of it getting burned off like normal sugar it stays in your body and is converted by your body into fat cells.
if you really want to lose wieght just dont eat foods that are high in carbs and calories and try to limit the amount of junk food you would normally eat. and whatever you do don't drink any soda, diet or not! but if you just have to have drink regular soda it's better for you and there are studies i sure that will prove what i am saying.
Just stop drinking soda, trust me, that shit is bad for you. If you stop drinking it for a month, you will never miss it again. As a matter of fact, if you stop drinking it, and then start again, you'll find that it's very difficult to swallow and digest, which tells you how bad it is for you.
Diet soda will NOT help you lose weight. Diet sodas contain aspartame, which has been proven to inhibit weight loss.
It doesn't really help you lose weight, it just doesn't have the calories but it is loaded with sugar and chemicals.
Regular soda is terrible for you and diet soda is even worse, with all of the additional chemicals they put in it. Drink water, your body will thank you in the long run!
Yes, because sugar is very bad in soda.
It's a simple equation. To loose weight, one must use up more calories than are taken in. Eat less or burn more calories or both. A regular soda has about 150 calories. Most diet sodas have zero or a few calories. It's that simple. We are addressing the caloric balance here and not the nutritional needs of your body. You must consume enough other foods to meet the nutritional needs of your body.
Whilst diet cola contains less calories than standard or "full strength" cola, the only sure way to lose weight, unless you are suffering from a glandular disorder, is to eat less.
It depends on the amount of soda you drink. If you are drinking soda with every meal and for snack in between, regular soda will put on the pounds. If you only drink soda once or twice a month, it doesn't make any difference which kind you drink. Soda was never designed to be consumed like water, which is how some people drink it. Diet soda itself will not help you lose weight, although it may help keep you from gaining weight if you are a soda guzzler.
