I think my husband's lasts all month long.... like mine.

I read about that. The main culprit cited for men were men in the age range where testosterone levels start falling, the other causes were unhealthy life style, and lazy behavior. Eventually men get andropause (male menopause)and will go through the whole gamma of symptoms.

I can believe that! There are several times a month my husband acts like more of a b**CH than I do!

That's when men agree to watch something on Lifetime and later on don't know why they were so into that story ;)

Well, the main reason for female PMS is because the chemical levels in the body spend the whole month rising or falling to prepare for a pregnancy, and then they change drastically to trigger the menstrual cycle, and again to trigger the release of the egg from the ovaries. PMS is usually the strongest result of all the hormones changing which really messes with a woman.... but certain parts of the whole baby preparing cycle (other parts of the month) might affect her more. It differs from person to person. Men don't have nearly as much constant changing of the hormones since they are not preparing for the possibility of having or not having a child, but there is some change in hormone levels.

I had heard of that. Here some information about it: 1) "Husband Crabby, Sluggish? It's not just women who are susceptible to shifting hormones. If your honey is behaving like a bear, he could be suffering from what's being called "irritable male syndrome" or IMS." Source and further information: http://www.strive4impact.com/massage_files/Articles/male_pms.html 2) Male PMS: "The men admitted to feeling antisocial and suffering poor concentration; depression; lack of arousal; hot flashes and pain - including stomach cramps, back pain and headaches." Source and further information: http://www.4-men.org/testosterone/pms.html 3) "Though you may be cursing every male you know when you are suffering from PMS, recent evidence has shown that men actually suffer from PMS too. Irritable Male Syndrome, or IMS, produces symptoms that are very similar to those caused by PMS. Between 30% and 50% of men are thought to suffer regularly from male PMS symptoms including: depression fatigue headaches back pain hot flashes Like PMS, IMS is thought to be triggered by fluctuations in hormones, specifically testosterone, the male sex hormone. This is often brought on by episodes of stress and by high fat diets. In order to get male PMS relief, stress reduction and a low-fat, balanced diet is recommended." Source and further information: http://www.epigee.org/menstruation/pms.html 4) "Do you suffer from Male P.M.S? ... yes pre-menstrual stress!"
