The phone must be a T-Mobile or an unlocked phone.

You can use the T-mobile Sim card in the Sony Ericsson mobile..It will work if it is unlocked only,so use the sim in unlocked sony ericsson otherwise if the SE mobile is not unlocked means you can unlocked it using the unlock code purchased in the site http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/unlock-your-phone/rs7wp2/ at low cost..

You can use your T-Mobile sim card if your phone is unlocked. You can get your phone unlocked by calling your cell phone and request the subsidy unlock code. Once it is unlocked you can put any cell providers sim in the phone and use it.
