  • lol stop worrying about that. They have HUGE servers with HUGE capacity. Everytime they think they may fall short of space, they can hookup more Hard Drives. The question is not how much space is GOOGLE providing. The question should be how much out of that 3GB is being used by people? I have never crossed 5% of the given space. If we know that MSN has 225million users - lets say that gmail have 100million (MSN has been running longer and has many applications) that would give 300millionGB However - I reckon, as mentioned above, that the average user will not use 3GB which seems pretty reasonable: if the max is 3 then the avg is unlikely to be 3. I'm using 5MB of the ...wow 7GB (!) capacity! So I guess anything up to 300millionGB of server space would be required. (feel free to argue that gmail is as popular as MSN - I have no real view on it - but the working will remain the same regardless of users and estimated avg capacity per user)
