I did an engine swap and now have a 1999 JDM TYPE R engine w/a lsd transmission. I am pulling the engine again and want to know what I can do to get the most performance. Transmission/clutch,internals/externals, nitros, forced air,intake/exhaust computer

    if you really have the 99 spec ITR (JDM Integra Type R) transmission, it is the best b-series Honda Transmission. I would not change any internals on the type r engine, since Honda has put the best parts inside this engine. You can upgrade to a 2.5 inch exhaust system and AEM Hybrid air intake. I would not recommend nitrous, unless you want to blow up your high compression engine. The motor will handle small shots of nitrous, but over time you will have to replace pistons, rings, and other vital parts.

    jdm integra type r engine has 11.0:1 compression. Its a beautiful all-motor engine, dont boost it. If you absolutely have to, then change pistons to special nitrous-low compression ones. I would recommend Wiseco.
