When I first took the pill, mine were swollen for about 3 months. You should talk to your doctor about this side effect, they may be able to switch you to a different pill. Prolonged* breast tenderness due to artificial hormones (i.e. the pill, hormone replacement, etc) can lead to other complications in the long run so it is best to let your doctor know about it in order to avoid these potential complications.
*By prolonged I mean over 6 months or more.

    All the best to you.
