Ezekiel 18; 4 Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die. ISAIAH 26;14 They are dead; they will not live. Impotent in death, they will not rise up. Therefore you have turned your attention that you might annihilate them and destroy all mention of them. A 'soul' is the complete living, breathing person. Adam 'came to be' a living soul. He was NOT 'given' a separate soul. Genesis 2; 7 The Hebrew word translated to soul is ' NEPHESH'..that which breathes.

you will never find the phrase "immortal soul" in the bible. i dare you to find it, it isn't there. belief in an immortal soul is not taught in the bible. this belief originates with the pagan nations. the belief that the soul survives the death of the body originates in babylon. for this reason Jehovah's witnesses do not believe in the soul being immortal. it simply isn't taught in the bible.

"just because we can live forever doesn't make us immortal" LOL Jesus was victorious over death when he was rose from the dead, he gave his believers eternal life.John 12:42 "For all that, even among those in authority a number believed in him, but would not acknowledge him on account of the Pharisees, for fear of being banned from the synagogue. For they valued their reputation with men rather than the honour which comes from God." Sound similar to your own congregation? John 12:44-50 Sums it up, "I do not speak on my own authority, but the father who sent me has himself commanded me what to say and how to speak. I know that his commands are eternal life. " Its very clear if you truly accept what Jesus has done. He commands us to have eternal life. Only non believers are mortal! Believers are anointed with the Holy spirit and have received immortality.Earth bound or heaven bound. By the way no one living on the earth today is apart of the group of 144 000 mentioned in the Revelation.Only people who lived under the law of Moses are eligible to be in that class of Judges. Read the Word of God to understand . I am not here to debate theology anyway. But I am to say accept that Christ has given you eternal life(or commanded that you take it).Accept Jesus into your heart and let his love flow through you and let his image show through you. Its the only way to salvation. You cannot show me any thing different from the Bible. May God's blessing and grace be with us. I pray that our actions are to bear fruit in all we do.

I would like for a Jehovah Witness to correct me if I miss this one. I know you folks have it word for word so dont get to excited if I miss it a little. Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, at the same time Michael willed himself out of existance. Jesus was then born and lived for 33 years and was crucified, on the 3 rd day God disintegrated (destroyed)His body. At the same time Michael recreated himself and got promoted from a god to a mighty god. Hum
