  • No one really knows, but it is suspected that some massive collision occurred in its history which "knocked it over".
  • As the other answer stated, nobody has an explanation that can be proved or disproved. There is not a set of rules, so it just is. My guess would have to be that this is how it entered our solar system, but, it may be due to a large impact. Another reason could lead us all the way back to its formation, that could definitely have something to do with it. Great question, I hope this was helpful!

  • I'm sure the Planet's name originated from a scientist, who, not unlike other scientists, had a very limited social life yet very vivid sence of humor and imagination. Just think of the laughs he experienced, with his newly named Planet, everytime it was mentioned. He made the discovery of a planet into a joy to joke about well into the future.
