There's a place here called The Melting Pot, and it is a fondue restaurant. Basically they put pots of sauces on the table, mostly cheeses and stuff and you dip and sometimes even cook the food yourself.

In the early 70s my father opened one up. It had fondue and crepes. There would be one burner to each table and depending on what course, you would get the appropriate sauce and all sorts of things to dip. They did main meals and dessert. It was fun and a great thing to do with friends as you could try all sorts of things and trade goodies. It's very communal.

At Dante's Down The Hatch you cook your food (pork, beef, chicken, veggies) in fondue pots at the table. They also have a chocolate fondue but you have to order it in advance and they only do one a day.
