the same reason so many people of different races use racisism to get what they want...Because They CAN !

I'm not sure what advantage you could be referring to, besides those that arise from an even playing field.

Have'nt men been doing the same all along ? What it boils down to is that some of each sex will use whatever means possible to get what they want. We've raised a society of people who want it and want it now no matter who gets stepped on.Again I say some ,not all

Most certainly. The basic premise of feminism was taken over by radicals in the movement a long time ago and is now used for a lot of things far away from the original intention of creating an equal workplace. The ability to file untrue sexual harrassment charges against a man, declare demotions or not giving promotions some sort of blackballing even when the merit of the employee validates the action, or any other fake situations has become the "code" of the radical feminist to progress up the ladder without vailidity. Using these things to achieve goals is not right, and the practice needs to be looked at from a more accurate perspective. Many women now get promotions because workplaces are afraid of lawsuits, etc. It hurts the plight of honest women who work hard and achieve on their own merit.

Sure. Just like any group that is set apart for special protection. It's part of the backlash for having been oppressed for so long. Its my hope that one day no one will need affirmative action and that the groups protected by it will be able to feel that the things they accomplish are because of their own merit/skills/intelligence and NOT because they are part of a specially protected group, or part of a quota.

YES

Not often. It is certainly the exception, and if it is not - well, that's America for you. Sexual inequality is still huge in the Western world, and much of these beliefs result from scare tactics used by people who want women to conform to traditional, restrictive sexual values (i.e. men are encouraged to have premarital sex, but women are socially penalised).
-
Yes. If not many, there are definitely women who do that.

Of course, and it's obvious to an objective person. Feminism today is merely a platform to malign males and give females as many advantages as possible, regardless of the fairness or impact on males. The VAWA is a prime example of the powerful feminist lobby machine that defines males as abusers and females and the victim whenever there is any domestic violence.

I don't think feminism is there to create a level playing field for all. It would be called something like Humanism if that were the case. Feminism is there to promote womens interests. . Just look at Mommy Track, for instance. A professional women can take time off to have a baby and return to work 6 months or a year later and enjoy seniority as if she never left. In other words, the same seniority that a person who stayed on the job and worked to gain has. . There is no such mechanism for a man to take time off for personal reasons and keep up with those still working. . +5

Yes.

I do think that there are some, but definitely not most. Most feminists just want to be treated as true equals. We have made progress but we aren't there yet.

Obviously.
