Lying naked together after sex is shameful because they have been taught that intimacy is not acceptable. Skin to skin contact is reserved for the "sex act" itself. The garments are taken off for showers, baths and sex but at all other times they must be on the body. Married Mormons must cover their nakedness even in front of each other and wear garments while sleeping together. This is part of a sensory deprivation program Mormonism evolved. Their claim of sacredness is beyond question. They will suppress the degree of sensual experience so as not to dilute their belief system. Nakedness with a Mormon couple is reserved only for the "sex act" and not for general intimacy of skin to skin contact. Skin to skin contact doesn't happen unless there's a plan for "sex act" to take place. Being naked together without sex is sinful according to Mormonism.
