No they do not!!! I am a probation and Parole Officer for the state of Idaho. I can not tell you how many reports (PSI) Pre-Sentence Reports I have read that church officials were more than aware and the wifes. No in one case did they come forward with the duty to report and turn the abuser in! They should be charged with assessory injury to child at a minimum!!! So no they do not report. On a caseload of 70 I have 15 mormons!!!!

Oh you can make statistics look any way you want. we have just as many catholics in this state. In any of my morman cases the bishop and wife have known. It took another family member of the victim that they trusted or someone outside of the family to report to the police. People in authority have a duty to report!
