  • Yoga doesn't burn too many calories, but you may feel better emotionally (and as a result eat less). Yoga & walking together (with a low-cal vegetarian diet) can support proper weight. For relaxation, rest in savasana (corpse pose) at the start of the practice, in-between poses, and for 10-15 minutes at the end. Try to do some yoga every day (even if only 15 minutes). Also, if you really want to get in shape fast & burn calories, then do lots of rounds of "sun salutations". But be warned.... even 10 minutes of sun salutations can be tiring.
