  • Happiness is great, but--IMO--Joy is something you can't really describe because it comes from deep within. It's very rare. :)
  • happiness we all know as having people and things in our life which makes us happy, Joy is an overwhelming feeling of happiness. Happiness is more of a condition and joy is more of an emotion.
  • I see happiness as the ability to be content with what is. I see joy as flashes of intense emotional expectation. *Happiness is like a warm spring day, lying in the fresh green grass and watching clouds. *Joy is like the big rides at Disneyland. I prefer happiness.
  • Happiness, is something that you have on the surface, but Joy, hmm, joy has to come from deep within someone. When you know God, follow God, do as He has commanded you to do, then you can have that JOY.   • I think there is a difference between happiness and joy. Happiness comes about because of favorable circumstances but once these circumstances become adverse happiness will disappear. On the hand joy can stand the test of time and circumstance. It is more obvious now. Joy has more value.
