What are the black spots that some black people have on their legs, and how do I get rid of them?

I am not black but the last answer was a bit uncalled for... Black or white we all have the right to want to get rid of spots or unusual marks that are not so pretty.

Well I'm black and I don't understand this so-called answer that was posted before me. It really has nothing to do with the question so I'll make it my duty to answer. The black spots can be caused by shaving, I've read they can be removed by using a pumice stone rubbing it in a clockwise circular motion after bathing. It really did nothing so now I'm trying pumice sponge which is a bit harder but I think it's better, but don't use it too hard 'cause it might turn the bump to sores and that could cause scars which would be worse than the black spots and I really thing someone should have told ME that before hand. I hope this helps!
