Yes though we go through it that way to throw away nasty torn clothes , and it helps when someone comes in looking for a certain color and size they want -- I'm a volunteer for the Salvation Army + up

I noticed this too at the Salvation Army which doesn't charge any tax. I think it is a great way to help the costumer out and it must be a universal rule in thrift shops since that is all I see when I go in there.

They dont do it by color at my local arc, they just toss it on the rack and categorize as womens, mens, children =/

Well I've never been to one, but if they do this. I think it would make it easier on the customers. And I dont think its alot of work actually. I color cordinate my closet, its pretty much the same as hanging it regularly
