A very interesting question, I thought a lot about it. It seems a very nonsensical idea. Who could profit from this job being done? Probably only some perturbed minds. It has different aspects: - should people, who are doing ugly jobs, get more money? - which jobs could not be worth any money? - can you ruin your image? I think the answer to the last question would be that you can ruin your image, in that case. Most people would only understand if you really needed it or, eventually, if it were much more money. We are sometimes doing things at work which are very painful, either for our body, or for our soul. Sometimes we don't know it, sometimes we just don't want to know it. Many people even die because of illnesses or accidents for which their work environment was responsible. So if I were in such a situation, I could ask myself if I could consider doing this because it would be a relatively smaller pain for relatively bigger money. I could also need the money for a very valuable reason. (The proposal would be only more indecent in that case). I hope I'll never be in such a situation and I have no other possibility. If I really wished to earn much money for little work, I think there would be other, morally defensible and less painful possibilities. But you should have to concentrate your interests on earning money. Anyway, I don't really need that kind of money. 1) This would be a lot of money for me. Otherwise, somewhat cheaper als for an "Indecent Proposal". So I think I would need more money.
