  • I'm scared!
  • I don't 'feel' anything for him, and I wouldn't even if I was paid to.
  • he's not my president, so i don't care about him
  • He has a hard job and has and will make difficult decisions. Some of those both past and present will be disastrous! So I pity him for the job ha has and his obvious failings. I like him as a person he seems to have moral code that he believes in but I hate his decision to go to war! Other than that as a Brit I cannot criticise too much especially when you begin to understand what we have got!
  • Nothing, really. The president is sort of the tip of an iceberg -- the most visible manifestation of a "meme set" ( a set of interlocked ideas which sort of take over part of a culture in order to ensure the survival of the ideas themselves ) There is no point in railing against the president -- he isn't in charge of the meme set any more than any of the individuals are. This is the way politics goes: a bunch of ideas get together, and then locate humans to infect so they can survive and thrive. The ideas most likely to survive are those that are easy to remember, or have other appealing qualities like making the humans believe that they are heroic. Once the meme set gets going, it has to compete with other meme sets for mindspace. This ongoing battle between multiple meme sets is the activity we think of as "politics". It has nothing to do with leadership, original thinking, true values, or producing happiness for the population. It's just about the survival of these concepts for their own sake. The president is simply a cell in this semantic organism, as are all of us when we accept ideas from others, ideas we've read about, or ideas which seem attractive... without really challenging them and testing them in our own experience.
  • Happy he's not the leader of my country but then I'm not happy with the leader of my country either!!
  • Embarrassment on behalf of the poor, ill-equipped and increasingly inept president that he has increasingly become, and compassion for the misguided human being that he is...
