I just read "The Boomer Generation 1946-2046" -an excellent read if you want to remember things that you didn't realize you had forgotten..."The World Without Us"--a book about how the world would change if human life simply ceased to exist--"The Good Women of China"- a collection of stories of the hardship of life in China(women)-"Einsten: His Life and Universe"--"Mao: the untold Story"...and a few dozen more..I read a lot of non-fiction!

I am currently reading a book called Tragedy in Tin Can Holler. It was written by my friend's mother. It's a true story about the author's mother that was killed by her husband. When the author went to find out about why her dad killed her mom, a deep, dark secret was uncovered. It is AWESOME. I have gotten to the 15 chapter, but her dad's mother was an unbelievably evil woman. You can find the book @ www.tragedyintincanholler.com. I highly recommend it.
