Depending on your age now, if can lead to depression later on.. I would stick with something uh...less synthetic.

I did ecstacy for about 3 years & I wouldn't recommend trying it. The long term effects are that it eats holes in your brain that control your serotonin levels. Consequently, your body stops producing it. It is your body's natural "feel good drug". After years of using it, I am now on Zoloft for depression. It is illegal for a reason...it really fucks you up, in more ways than one. If you have never tried it, don't. it feels great at first but then you will never feel that good again if you continue. It makes you puke & you feel like you have been hit by a truck the next day. If you are still awake when the pill wears off, you feel REALLY down. I have been clean from drugs or 10 yrs now. PLEASE reconsider this. It hurts me to think about how many kids are still doing this drug even though the effects are very damaging, long term, & irreparable. The cost varies but since the drug came out from the underground (when I was using), people have been crushing up the pills and putting God knows what in there to re-press them & get more pills for them to sell. They usually cost $15-20, but is that really worth all the brain cells & brain matter you destroy? I hope you don't try it. Can you please get back with me so I am not worried. I can only tell you from my experience & it was not a good one.

hi im mr.texas and i tell u what i just started doing this shit on feb-9-08 an today is march 22-08 im on x right now as im tpyein to you i all ways heard good things about how it make you feel and how it increase your sex drive all thats true but what they dont tell you is that this shit f____k wit your mind real bad and that this not a type of drug i want to be playing around wit i promise you when i come down of this shit x will be in my past so to make a long story short my advice to you is plez do not mess with this shit it is a slient killer by all means if you love yourself do your self a favor dont put yourself an love ones through all the pain it can cause u and your family so until then god bless you and stay away form that devil its not good for u

This is really late, considering this question was asked two years ago, but I hope you didn't try E. I did for the first time, and it felt great. Everything was ..enhanced, everything felt good, it was just a plain state of pure happiness. But I was still awake when I started coming off my high, and I felt down. REALLY down. I was even considering suicide, when typically, I am a very happy person. I felt sad, alone, depressed, and I didn't know what to do. I was up until 6:00 in the morning, laying in bed, bathing in self pity. Even when I tried to think happy thoughts, I couldn't, I was still depressed. I woke up the morning, and my jaw was sore, from clenching it involuntarily when I was high, my back hurt, and I had a pounding headache. I still felt sick to my stomach, and I got lightheaded when I stood up. The depression was still there, beit not as bad as the night before. Not everyone gets depressed when coming off their high.. but it is common. When you first take E, I'd recommend half a tablet, but I'd more recommend you not taking it all. You have to chew the tablet, and it's smart to have a lot of water and orange juice on hand. Expect to feel sick, be sensitive to light, and expect to feel your body temperature change by the hour. Have a blanket on hand, and like I said, orange juice and water. Eat before you take it, because E lowers your appetite, a lot. Get a lot of sleep afterwards, and try to hit the matress before you come off your high, but make sure someone can keep an eye on you.

i know you all are looking at these comments and thinking "yeah what do they know" ... right? it's been a while since this has been written but take it from me and others that have wroten on this website, (were only looking out for you) i am 17 years old and was a user of Ecstasy for about 4 to 5 months, your probably thinking.. "yeah thats not a long time" but it really is, ecstasy is really not a drug ANYONE should be messing around with..it put's holes in your head, and by the time your done using it your brain will look like swiss cheese. here's my story... i went to a rave and took some E pills, well i was fine and was enjoying the pill, and than when i got home i had a mini heart attack/seziure and was rushed to the hospital, i was only seconds away from dying, thank-god for the emts and doctors at the hospital i went to.. without them i wouldn't be here writing this to you guys... stay away from E, it TAKES LIFES!! (IT ONLY TAKE'S ONE TIME, REMEMBER THAT)

Its so good to see people are giving good advice, I was told I don't know what I'm in for, and woah, I suppress my curiosity now when it comes to drugs, by any chance anyones reading this, listen to the good advice
