Does anybody have an irrational fear of a common place item or animal?

Spiders. I don't mind not liking them, but I have a serious phobia about them that far outweighs any real damage they can do. I can't even look at pictures and have terrible recurring dreams about them. No idea why.

High flemsy looking bridges. I get that sick feeling in the pit of my stomache if I know I will be driving over one or if I'm confronted with a high place I freeze & my feet feel like their 200 lbs & won't let me move & my knees lock up. I have panic attacks & short of breath, I don't like heights.

Styrafoam. I HATE how it sounds.

Mice. I know in my heart they can't hurt me, but if I see one, I freeze. Or scream. It doesn't matter if the thing is alive or dead. I was raking a few years ago and saw a dead one, and I gasped, ran into the house, and started crying. :P
