    I don't think the amount of surgeries would make a difference. If you need surgery for a serious medical condition and it can be done laparoscopically as opposed to the normal open surgery it would be much less invasive. Compared to open surgery, laparoscopic surgery offers many benefits which include small skin incisions, better cosmetic scars, less postoperative pain, shorter hospital stay (often day-only), faster recovery and earlier resumption of normal activities and employment. http://www.laparoscopicguide.com/Laparoscopic+Surgery.8862.htm
