There not, in general! Newspapers are because when one does something wrong people want to know what happened and why, these stories sell papers, more papers sold means more money for the papers!

Because they are doing the crazy stuff none of us would do.

They do things and get away with them, unlike the rest of us. They live lives that we could only dream of. They have so many opportunities while some people are wondering if they'll even eat today.

my thinking would be because these celebrities most of them, they dont live a normal life.Like they are always glamorous and beautiful that's basically what they project all the time.And people tend to forget that these celebrities are also human and that they have flaws and problems that normal people exprienced everyday.

Sometimes it's very sex-related -- many celebrities are incredibly good-looking. And people are naturally attracted to physical beauty ( and then possibly hide it under the " They're such a good singer/actor/actress/etc. though" reasoning ) Yeah, I'm talking of myself, too, though I usually admit it's a purely physical attraction. :)
