Yes, because I'm ornery like that.

I've always want to stand up and say, "Yes, I object there's no fried chicken on the menu" or something of the sort.

    What's wrong with me? lol

Yeah, because I think it would be funny. Then I would say I'm just joking.

I've only been to one wedding in my life, and I didn't know them either. But yeah, I did get the urge...just because I've always wanted to do it haha.

    G'day Patti Jo,

    Thank you for your question.

No I haven't. I haven't had any concerns about any of the weddings that I have been invited to. If I had, I would raise it with the person concerned rather than publicly.

If you did, you would have to raise concerns about the legal validity of the marriage such as one of the people being already lawfully married or being underage. Those concerns would be best raised privately first.

    Regards

I have never been to a wedding where they asked this question. I suppose it was on with the show.

Actually... I havn't been to a wedding yet.. but i have 2 comming up my moms and my sisters... and I plnan on standing up with only my sisters.. only because her boyfriend is not the same guy my family fell in love with .. I dont noe what my sister sees in him all he has done is ripped her outta her family's life.. and he purposed to her not even a month after knowing her. so yea she should be expecting no ones best wishes from my family because all of us think she is being very stupid.... and I have always wanted to just stand up and say I OBJECT! and just have everyone looking at me it would be hilarious.. cant wait to do it

I did not attend my sisters wedding because I would not been able to control the urge to do so since she was getting married to a convicted sex offender with crimes against children including kidnapping, rape, sodomy, oral copulation and penetration with a forign object. I think the only ceremony he deserves is a funeral.

Yes, one of my friends. I wanted to tell the bride her man just gave his all trying to convince me to sleep with him just a few days before their nuptials. But she would have done it anyway. They're divorced now. Be Blessed!!!

Yes, I have, but only to be funny. I'd stand up and say the brides having my baby. I'm a chick so that would confusse the hell out of everyone.
I did go to one where we were daring people to let a nasty one rip or burp really loud. We also were taking bets on how long it would last or how bad the groom would mess up his vows.

A few time yes, for I have seen people marry for all of the wrong reasons or that I seen that they were better off not together. Otherwise, no. I would keep my mouth shut, for I feel that people need to learn on their own.

No. Most of the weddings that I have attended do not include that expression.

If it was so bad that I felt I would have to speak up like that, then I am sure that my conscience would prevent me attending a ceremony that joined such an unevenly yoked pair.

That phrase has never been asked in any of the marriage ceremonies I've been to. And I would never dream of interrupting a dignified ceremony that means so much to a couple. Then again, I have only been to one wedding where I didn't think they were the best match and I wasn't the only person thinking that so it was like a mind wave between everyone but the groom and bride, bad move, bad move....but they already knew everyone's objections and it was going to happen anyway.

Yes, but it was my best friend getting married to a horrible guy and she wasn't yet 18 and the only reason was that she was pregnant but i was one of the few people who knew she was, they are still married but I am the one who has to talk to her at two in the morning when she gets in fights... i should have said something

Yes I seriously have, but then I figured my few minutes of unhappiness would cause the bride many more minutes of unhappiness so I shut my mouth and smiled nicely.
