  • Because in your case it was a bad question, but a good answer :-) doesn't happen often, you should be proud.
  • I'd say it is an excellent example of the phrase "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Some people may view said question as being of little value, another person might not think badly of the question then open it and read some answers and then give points. It just shows the variability of people in relation to showing what they think about other peoples contributions. I also imagine that a person may be able to explain themselves more in an answer where there is no character limit.
  • Because in your last question about getting points , is a BIG no no here on AB and then you saw it wasn't working and you answered in a healthy way
  • 1) Life is not fair... 2) the opposite can also happen! You can get more negative points on your answers to your own questions 3) bad submissions often get negative points, good submissions often get positive points 4) it looks like you are thinking of a particular example
