  • This feature may not exist, but anyone is free to make their e-mail address public by providing it in their "Personal Profile". Anyone who has made their e-mail address public has, implicitly, given other Answerbag users permission to contact them. Those who have not made their e-mail address or any other contact information public have demonstrated they want to retain their privacy from both Answerbag users and e-mails harvesters. It's one of those systems that works, without forcing the site administrators to make programming and database changes.
