  • Peppermint or spearmint chewing gum may help.
  • Sorry to hear about that. I would think the doctors or nurses in the hospital would have been able to give you some kind of prescription if the pain is that severe. If you have a history of seizures you need to consult your doctor. Tell them about your lastest seizure and go from there. I would be very concerned if you tried to self treat such a serious medical condtion. Please see your doctor ASAP!
  • Orajel??? Or you might call your dentist and see if s/he has a suggestion.
  • i am guessing you had a seizure when you were alone????? if you are an epileptic, you can get a bite stick, which will not compromise your jaw as in sticking a wallet of something like that in your mouth during your seizure.....i would go see an oral surgeon if the injury is severe....take care....Brian....
  • my uncle has seizures a lot.. he has bitten his tongue a few times as well.. he would either eat ice cubes until it went numb, or eat ice cream. but if you like.. cut your tongue badly, i would go to the emergency room to make sure you didn't do some severe damage. you may need stitches or something.
