Help answer this question below.
Rockfos everything...actually, I have the perfect system in my car right now...for me. I love my system, it's my baby and I bump the SHIT out of it EVERYDAY. MMMMMMMM....bass....
1. Alpine, Kenwood or Pioneer head, preferably with touch screen dvd player.
2. Pioneer speakers and tweeters.
3. Duel bazooka base tubes and a double sub woofer box with 12" Sony Xplode sub woofers powered by a 5000 watt Sony amplifier.
That should make some clothes blow right off.
hahaha, alpine subs and deck no doubt, JL speakers and clif designs class d amp, or two
Kenwood Deck with Kenwood amps - Kenwood tweeters - Rockford Subs and 0 to 2 gage wiring kit to run it all
First answer.. Sony Xplode products are horrible. A good sub has a higher RMS handling that the accual Peak power. I have seen on most Xplodes wow a huge 1200 watt 12" but in fine print the RMS is 300watts.. that means over playin power to them causes the voice coil to break down and blow the speaker quicker. I have 12"s that have 1000watt peak power and 500RMS so its 50% power handling. Good ratio. the sony 5000watt amp is only pushing out about 750Watts at all times. so again you probably spent like 300 bux on an amp that lied to you. For the answer to the question. You first need to decide what music u listen to the majority of the time and then go from there. that helps u decide what size sub u want how many and what style box. theres a huge process if you are really into technicality.. but if your just a kid tryin to have some boom. Go buy two 12's in a sealed box and a amp to push em' no garuntees but we all been down that road
I want a base system that will be able to blow a dress off a woman just like at the end of the Italian Job remake.
Hifonics, mtx, kicker, Alpine, American Bass dunno just to name a few I'd go with.
Okay here is what I'd get if everything was free:
Head unit- Alpine, or Kenwood (preferably a 1DIN or DVD player)
Door speakers- Rockford fosgate 6.5's for front and back, hooked up to a 4 channel amp that can power those perfectly, then for subs I'd get either four alpine type r's, two type x's, possibly Rockford Fosgate P3's, or a couple RE XXX. For the amp to power these, depending on the subs either one or two Alpine 3000 watt amps. 0 gauge welding cable to run to this setup, with an extra battery, a big three upgrade, maybe a cap, some dynomat to not kill the car, and the money to afford the tickets I'd get for this incredibly loud setup :)
the 2008 pioneer touch screen head unit
2 rockford fosgate amps one a 2ich and one a 4 ch for voice
2 capacitors an equalizer and epicenter a crossover and a 0 gauge power kit
Alpine head unit phenix gold components and 6by9s vibe amps and jl subs 1 10 seald and 1 15 ported to ge a ful range Of sound worked for me.
deck? dunno, has to be 5.1 tho
spkrs? 3pr 6 1/2in focal audio poly glass components
subs? 2 jl w7's maybe
amp(s) 2 jl 1000/1
3 jl 300/2
300amp altenater, biggest wires needed, and prob a 2nd battery.
no tv's or ps3's, just pure sound
pioneer dvd deck,3 tv screens,6 boss 6/9s,set of tweeters,2fusion 15s all powered by rockford fosgate amps 4 amps in sedan.
for the head unit i want a Pioneer AVHP5900DVD $899.99
interior speakers JL Audio Evolution ZR components ZR650-CSi 6 3/4" 2 sets $849.99 each
rear dash JL Audio Evolution TR full range speakers TR 690-TXi 6x9 $159.99
subwoofers JL Audio 13w7 4 of them 1099.99 each
0/1 ga wire kit $199.99
Tsunami capacitor 40 farad $499.99
Streetwires rca 6 sest 19' $69.99 each
JL Audio 1000/1 amps 4 of them $999.99 each
JL Audio 300/4 amp $529.99
JL Audio 300/2 amp $449.99
total cost $13,259.79
when shall i be expecting it? lol
what kind of a question is this?
Wow JL has never impressed me, wonder why? is it because there better stuff out there, or is it because there junk, like kenwood and sony junk, more like quantum audio junk. Hell take an old autotek system and it beats all 3 in sound, not the new stuff but the old autotek.

I have 2 12" subs in my trunk and two 6x9 alpine speakers in the back. Whenever I turn my balance to the left, my subs don't play.
