    1. Alpine, Kenwood or Pioneer head, preferably with touch screen dvd player.

    2. Pioneer speakers and tweeters.

    3. Duel bazooka base tubes and a double sub woofer box with 12" Sony Xplode sub woofers powered by a 5000 watt Sony amplifier.

That should make some clothes blow right off.

First answer.. Sony Xplode products are horrible. A good sub has a higher RMS handling that the accual Peak power. I have seen on most Xplodes wow a huge 1200 watt 12" but in fine print the RMS is 300watts.. that means over playin power to them causes the voice coil to break down and blow the speaker quicker. I have 12"s that have 1000watt peak power and 500RMS so its 50% power handling. Good ratio. the sony 5000watt amp is only pushing out about 750Watts at all times. so again you probably spent like 300 bux on an amp that lied to you. For the answer to the question. You first need to decide what music u listen to the majority of the time and then go from there. that helps u decide what size sub u want how many and what style box. theres a huge process if you are really into technicality.. but if your just a kid tryin to have some boom. Go buy two 12's in a sealed box and a amp to push em' no garuntees but we all been down that road

Okay here is what I'd get if everything was free:
Head unit- Alpine, or Kenwood (preferably a 1DIN or DVD player)
Door speakers- Rockford fosgate 6.5's for front and back, hooked up to a 4 channel amp that can power those perfectly, then for subs I'd get either four alpine type r's, two type x's, possibly Rockford Fosgate P3's, or a couple RE XXX. For the amp to power these, depending on the subs either one or two Alpine 3000 watt amps. 0 gauge welding cable to run to this setup, with an extra battery, a big three upgrade, maybe a cap, some dynomat to not kill the car, and the money to afford the tickets I'd get for this incredibly loud setup :)

Wow JL has never impressed me, wonder why? is it because there better stuff out there, or is it because there junk, like kenwood and sony junk, more like quantum audio junk. Hell take an old autotek system and it beats all 3 in sound, not the new stuff but the old autotek.
