  • Mine went to public school , I had no child support help at all , so I did the best I could + 5
  • I have done all three with my kids. The eldest was homeschooled, the next private schooled and the twins public. At the moment because we have moved they are all in Private because that was closest to the farm. I think it is what suits the child.
  • I would go with public school. I think they would find more friends and have more fun that way.
  • I don't have to worry about that yet but Considering the schools in my area -- either private or home school.
  • I intend to home school my daughter - if it works. Really, it's a decision unique to each family and each child within that family. Given the public schools in my area, that would be my absolute last chance, and I will move if I have to send her to public school. There are plenty of private schools in the area which are excellent, though, and I'm sure I'd be happy with many of them. But I think my child is likely to thrive in a homeschooling situation, at least given our current dynamics. She's three, and she's already starting to learn to read and write, and she just loves it. She loves learning from me, and my only concern is that I am going to have to put a good deal of effort into making sure she has plenty of time with friends, too, since she is very social. I am hoping to find someone who will be interested in coordinating homeschooling partially with me to complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, and to provide competition and companionship for the kids. How does that sound?
  • We sent the oldest boy to private school because the public schools said they couldn't accomadate him. (He's now at University of Michigan studying aeronautical engineering! Go Blue!) All of my other kids went to public school. I would homeschool my daughter, but all we'd do is fight, and I'd have an awful time getting her to stick to a schedule!
  • I will send mine to a normal school, state run and together with all the other kids in the area. If I still lived in London I would try and send them to some kind of private school. The schools in London now sell STAB PROOF SCHOOL UNIFORMS!
  • i will send mine to a public school, i went to one and came out ok
  • I taught public school for three years. I am homeschooling my child. I don't want her in the schools after what I learned while teaching. If I could afford private school, that might be an option. I would have to do some research before I chose it. There are things you don't know about public school that would curl your hair if you knew it.
