Yes I would and I would like to think they would do the same for me
-
kidney problems run in my family so i couldnt even if i wanted to but if my kidneys were healthy and a member of my family or closest friends needed a kidney i would offer. i know how much a kidney transplant can change someones life.
-
Yes, in a heartbeat.
-
yep.
-
In a heartbeat.
-
No.
-
yeah if they needed one or if a kid/baby needed one and I was a match
-
Yes. I would give it to a complete stranger if need be.
-
Of course I will.
-
Yes definitely, if i could help someone i would.
-
I am pretty sure I would.
-
Probably. It does depend on the relative to be honest. My boyfriend yes, my close friends yes, my sibling yes, and the people in our family we still talk to, yes. Those are all the FOR SURES. Everyone else I'd have to see when the time came. I guess like said before, I'd more likely give to a child in need first too. However, I do have marked down on my driver's license that I"m a donner, so at least if I die in a car crash people can take what they need =)
-
yes i would, but i cant, my blood is posioned .
-
yes i would, but i cant, my blood is posioned .think of medusa
-
If I had a chance to be tested for anyone who needed a kidney and was a match, I would do that for pretty much anyone. I think it would be pretty selfish for me to deny that if I'm able.
-
yes i would prob give it to any body that needed it :d except for those terrists :( its september 11th, god bless :(
-
NO.. My children need me, I would be selfish to shorten my life while being the carers of my babies.........Would I give a kidney to my partner who also shares our babies lives?........ Hmmmmmm now there's a tricky question!
-
Sure, and I hope others would as well. You only need one kidney to live, and be perfectly fine. (My Dad was born with only one kidney.) My husband is on the national kidney transplant list. The average wait for a cadaver organ is 4 years. I wish I matched his type, and could donate.
-
Yes. If I can help save ANYONE'S life and still be a live I would!
-
Honestly, I would only give a kidney to my child. My parents would never ask for one of mine. I wouldn't ask one of my children for one of theirs. That's how we roll in my family. I'm not sure why, but we all seem to feel this way.
-
Definitely. People who are violently against organ donation mystify me. One of my favorite bumper stickers is "Don't take your organs to heaven, because heaven knows we need them here!"
-
That depends upon the nature of my relationship with the friend/relative, the nature of their need, and the health of my own kidneys.
-
sure!
-
I would donate one to a stranger if I were found to be a match and medically allowable to do so :)
-
If they (my kidneys, or other organs) were healthy and I was a match, sure thing! I might have to consider how close of friends we are. But seriously, it's a life. I couldn't live with myself if I knew that someone died and I could have saved them.
-
I would... I have three functioning kidneys so I dont mind giving it away
-
Certainly, that's why I have an extra :)
-
I'd really like to think I would :)
-
Of course I would. I would donate my HEART if I could!
-
In a heartbeat.
-
Without reservation.I could do just fine with one.
-
Since I have no friends and since I don't trust anyone outside of my mom and dad, I'll be keeping my kidney.
-
Friends and family are soome of the most important people that we have here on this earth. So yes I would donate in a heartbeat.
-
Without a doubt !! I wouldnt even think twice about it.
-
In a heartbeat
-
without any hesitation.
-
I don't know if there is an age limit on such things..I'm 70-1/2. But if there were no age limit and I had healthy kidneys, sure! :)
-
sure, if i didnt need it. but if mine goes bad, i gotta take it back lol :P
-
Without hesitation yo...
-
Absolutely, without hesitation. That is, if they don't have a donor one already available ; there's no sense in tearing my own out for them if they already have a new one waiting for them : P
-
Yes. Actually I am already undergoing assessment at Churchill Renal Unit in Oxford, UK to be an Altruistic Donor. Early stages yet but I hope it all checks out.
