  • Probably not. It's up to YOU to take the initiative. Sit by someone else who looks lonely, or pull up to a chair by people who are in some of your other classes. Don't forget to join extra curricular(s) you can meet some really great people who share your interests there, which, in my opinion, was a great way that I met friends. It's still the beginning of the year, friends don't just POP up in thin air. Give some people a chance =)
  • i would walk up 2 a table of people who look friendly and fun and ask if you can sit with them. eventually you'll get to know them better if u sit with them every day and people are always looking for new friends so theyll probly be happy to have you. ur pretty brave to sit by urself at lunch. thats like my worst fear. it feels like the whole cafeteria is looking at u(i only sat alone for a few minutes once bcuz i was waiting for my friends to come out of the lunch line and sit down and still i hated the feeling of being alone)
  • walk into the lunch room like you own it... always keep your head high...
  • I would try to maybe strike up conversations with people in class, and then maybe you'll get a chance to sit with them at lunch.
  • I don't like the idea of someone being alone. I used to ask them if I could sit with them. SOmetimes it was yes, sometimes it was no. FInd the kids with GOOD manners, Piper. THose are the ones you want to be friends with. Don't waste your time with conceited people or high-maintenence people. THey really suck because they are so into themselves that they don't have any time left for anybody else.
