You know, it really depends on the look of your, erm, 'down stairs. There we go. I've been interested in that piercing for a long time and have checked out a ton and a half of pictures. For some people, it looks really sexy, for others though...it looks down right scary. It all depends on your anatomy. A lot of it's appeal has to do with whether or not you shave as well. I find those piercings on people who don't shave are a bit off. I've seen some pictures that looks like the persons vagina will start growling at me at any moment. Those types are a major turn off and piercings do nothing for them. In the end though it all depends on what *you* want, not what other people think about it. If you're really into the piercing I say go for it, it's a personal thing and you should be getting it done for yourself and not be held back just because of what other people think.

i had one... it was more of a pain than anything. Also if it isn't done right you could lose all sinsation down there, so make sure this person knows what they are doing down there. That is a place you don't want to mess up. I think for it to be a turn on you have to be shaved, i agree with Courtni it would be pointless if it wasn't. Good luck if you decide to do this.
