  • I wouldn't really want to, but i think the government wants to change the tax to a 33% national tax. I personally couldnt afford to do it weekly from my paycheck, because whos to say that that ammount of tax would be distributed evenly throughout what would have been taxed given taxes are applied to everything. Im not a property owner, and Oregon dosent charge sales taz anyways, so i would see that it would make us pay MORE no matter how they tried to consolidate tax into one form.
  • Adding it up, without losing a cent, 30% since that's approximately what I'm paying anyway. I've heard nothing about a blanket tax in this country, but as long as it is held in check, with no increase for a set period of time, I have no problem with it - provided they include a national health care system comparable to other countries who have a similar tax set up.
