Do you know anyone who 'kisses up' to people of wealth? Is it a character flaw or a flaw of a capitalist society?

It isnt a flaw but a sickness called greed...people think that if you kiss their ass that they will actually get money or something of value from it....look at all the half dead millionares with 21 year old wifes....you really think the girls love their partner or they cant wait for him to keel over so she can have her hand in the cookie jar?...;)

I know LOTS of people who do this and it's so transparent that the wealthy and/or powerful person has got to see it. I consider it a character flaw as I do all forms of artificial behavior and deception. If it were a flaw of capitalist society, then we would all be suck-ups. I don't believe we are. I know I'm not.
