I really enjoy books by David Baldacci, generally suspence/thriller books. And Nicholas Sparks, I guess kinda drama/love.

I've been sticking to fiction mostly for leisure reading for the last few years. Paul Auster is probably my favorite, but I always have a hard time when I have to pick just one. He is who came to mind first, so I'll stick with him for now.

I've been a Stephen King/Richard Bachman fan for years. I love his writings. He mainly writes horror novels. The dark novels are my favorites.

...living? Wow, erm... well, most everything I read was written long, long ago... so... Well, I guess really pretty much the only series I read now that is really modern would be the Harry Potter series, so I guess Rowling, but I don't much really care for her. She doesn't really rank among my favorite authors.

Terry Pratchett. I'm not quite sure how to classify the Discworld series other than saying "fiction"... it's just something you have to read. It's hard to describe. And they RULE. I'm also a Neil Gaiman fan, come to think of it... the Sandman collection are the best comics I have EVER read.
