I felt the same way. He totally grosses me out. He does give the dudes some good advice, but it doesn't sound so convincing from that weird cat.
Maybe he needs to just write the show, and someone a little more appealing should host it.
I just don't get it.

I know, he seems to know tactics for getting women, but the way he dresses doesnt seem to me it would be effective.
I find him attractive and like his unique attire, but I'm sure most people don't :P

I love this show! And I am a bit embarrassed to admit it! Hehe! Yes, Mystery does dress like a freak, who the hell is his designer? I think he's attractive, just not the clothes. He needs to tone it down a little. I find eccentricity (sp?) attractive, but this is just plain annoying! I think he trying too hard to be diferent. I am not sure if he gets alot of women. I'm sure he does. If so, they must look past the fighter pilot/pimp clothing! And what's with that name? Mystery?

He is kinda creepy, if women are being manipulated by his weird get ups, they must be as desperate as he is arrogant. Unfortunately that equation is prevelant in this society.. All I say is Yuk.. At least women are being educated by watching this show and they will be able to see through these games, hopefully.. The show is entertaining, I watch as a guilty pleasure.. and out of pure astonishment.

Mystery is a pickup legend.
he pretty much pioneered the field.

he gets more women than any man has a right to.
but to be fair he earned it through years of field research.

the reason he dresses in a strange way is because it is a part of his "game".

it's a strategy called peacocking.
the attire has 2 roles.
1) it draws the eye to him, making sure he's the focus of attention
2) when coupled with the proper mannerism, it demonstrates his confidence and hints at him being an "alpha". the reason being a "follower" could never pull off such flamboyance.
.
basically, when done right it's a demonstration of higher value, which is a key component in attraction.

You're reading I watched this show "The Pick Up Artist". This guy Mystery seems sort of creepy to me, does he really get a lot of women? Who dresses this guy in pimp and fighter pilot attire?
