If you'll check my profile, my email address is there, send me an email and note in the subject POTTY 101 for AB and I'll send you Potty 101. This is the training write up I use with my students and it's been a great help for over 5 years (I've been using the method longer than that, but I finally put it on paper!) I've been training dogs for over 30 years both live classes, individual at home visits and on line with K9U, DoggieDoor and PT on occasion with Doggiebag. The big trick is even though she's slightly older, you will train her as if she is a puppy and knows nothing about this idea of holding it and going outside. Remember to TAKE her outside on lead so you can "throw a party" for every successful potty trip! Use MAJOR TASTY TREATS...Like human grade beef jerky, cut up into very tiny bites...little treat HUGE flavor reward! Buy some Nature's Miracle to clean your carpets. If she has peed a lot...you're kinda in a fix now, because as long as SHE can smell the odor in the pad (which it very well may have saturated the carpet padding) she is going to believe that the scent is a big GREEN LIGHT to KEEP going IN THE HOUSE...remember, even if you don't smell it...SHE MAY...their noses are far better than ours! You may have to replace the pad and carpet to get rid of the smell. Get a crate and or baby gates so that you can set her up for SUCCESS...your goal is to not allow her to be loose in the house (until she is trained) without you actively watching her! A stuffed Kong (you can stuff it with a mix if non-fat yogurt, kibble, even some bit of the jerky and FREEZE it over night...THAT treat will help her to learn to enjoy being in the crate. When you are home, use a tether to attach her to YOU, so that you can be doing other things and still know exactly where she is and what she is doing...like getting ready to cop a squat! The tether should be long enough for her to move about some..chew her toys, lay down..comfortably but NOT to move out of your line of sight if you feel the line moving and look up to see her! (This lets YOU read a book, be on the computer, balance your check book, chop veggies for dinner or watch TV...and still know where she is and what she's doing!) The baby gates can be used to gate her into a safe, easy to clean space! Stack one gate on top of the other if she is a jumper! Shoot me an email and I'll send you the simple, fun HOW TO DO IT notes! Happy Tails!

You should have trained her before now, you should do it the day you get the dog at 8 weeks, all I can say is watch her like a hawk and let her out every hour until she gets the idea it is not her fault it is yours for not training her sooner.
