No, I do not. The Australian people did not want to become involved in Bush's war against Iraq. That, however, mattered not to our wonderful leader, who sent troops there despite massive public resistance. My youngest sisters boyfriend is currently serving in Iraq. He is 18 years old.

I'd say it would be quite a trick for him to locate Austrian troops, much less get them to go to Iraq on his command. I betcha Angela Merkel was annoyed...

it just goes to show how stupid the guy is!

He also walked off the wrong side of the stage when he was done. John Howard and GWB should both aid the troops in Iraq by fighting along side them fighting shoulder to shoulder hero style.

I think you mean Australia, not Austria. Australia and the US have been friends and allies for many years. Not all the wars we have participated in together were universally "popular" in either country, beginning with WWI (1914-1918). Whatever you think of the actions in Iraq today, whether it was/is wise or unwise, Australia and the US are both committed to a peaceful and stable Middle East, as is Great Britain and many others. They are committed to the fight against terrorism as well. Many things hinge on the survival of Iraq as a democratic nation with a just government. I do applaud any nation or leader who supports it, however they do so.

No. It's only adding to the Iraqi death toll (one million plus). I think these people are shallow idiots.
