I guess it just takes one big disaster like a war or crop failure and we will all be in trouble again

we are already in depression but the man in the street hasnt realised it yet.

We are in a depression it doesn't matter if the stock market does crash we have systems(welfare, social securtiy, unemployment et al.) that are supposed to keep it from reaching the same level as the Great Depression.
