Common sense and judgment serve me just fine.
Mostly tarot, though not on a daily basis anymore; I'm just not that disciplined, nor questing, currently. Sometimes I use 'portents' and try and interpret them...something in nature, like a flock of birds, or a cloud shape or a stone I run across (I have a degree in geology, so they talk to me on differnt levels), or the way a candle is burning/dripping, and sometimes concentration on a particular energy...I figure it's all part of the big picture...we and everything in this multiverse is connected in this reality, and if a butterflies wings' can help cause a tornado (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect) then I can plug into the chaos/aether to try and influence it towards trending the way I want/need, and I can also try and be sensitive to conditions as they are presented to me. However, interpretations are often wrong, because of lack of knowledge of the complexities, or through lack of skill, or wishful thinking against physical situations already in play.
