Help answer this question below.

There was a song from about 1997 that went something like "heard the song I was singing" and "cuz I just can't go on" "and I wish you didn't know..." It was on a playlist for a restaurant I worked and it would play but I never could get an artist or title

    Not 100% sure, but I think you might be talking about
    "On and On" by the Longpigs (from the album, "The Sun Is Often Out". The video is on youtube.
