It is indeed time for revolution. The government and big business are creating a sort of mild, phased fascism with a leftist social agenda and a rightist economic agenda.
If only 1% of the population would rise up, all over, destroying or taking over credit agencies, IRS offices, banks, unions, universities, major newspapers, TV and radio stations, airports, telecommunications centers, power plants, and etc. then the US military would be unable to act: it is designed for a conventional war not for that kind of war.
America is being slowly "frogged" into a stupor of despair, debt, taxes, regulations, and intolerance.
You first pal.
Revolutions aren't about justice, they're about who gets to be top dog.
Well, you know, we all wanna change the world. But if you go carryin' pictures of Chairman Mao, you ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow.
Revolutions have a bad track record. They do it in South America and Africa all the time, just puts in a new group of bloodsuckers. French Revolution had bad effects all over Europe. Russian Revolution instigated the murder of tens of millions of good people. The American Revolution wasn't really a revolution, it was a revolt against domination by a foreign power. Evolution, not revolution! Preserve what's good, work to improve what's bad!
What would they be revolting against? Wealth, power and status?
Yes. Go for it, you have the firearms and my support.
There are signs that one is on the way, perhaps not a shooting one, but a revolution nevertheless. Both major political parties have failed miserably to properly represent the American people. They both deserve to be cast onto the scrapheap of history.
Maybe, However as people have stated above, revolutions are bloody and oh by the way cost money. Given the current economy I don't think many of us have a whole lot of that. I do think however it is time to push back; the credit card companies, banks, and the IRS sure do push hard to get their money, so why don't we put a foot down! There is a small group of people still getting rich and pulling strings to continue that saga, so why don't we as a united country ask the question "Why" and how do we stop it! I may be the only one who feels this way but I too would like my slice of the American Dream.
P.S. I was told to go to college... I did that... I was told to hold a job during college to have experience after the fact... I did that... I was told to do internships to have experience in my field... I did that. Now What?
Oh yes. And it would be so easy. 2 million people, march on the white house and demand that Bush resigns. Take over the tv stations abd the press, and voila! The people are back in control!
Of course it is, but the US Army can stomp most anything... except for one little country to the east, oddly enoguh.
I don't know about there, long overdue in the UK IMO!
America needs a revolution.
Yes I've just been censored on YouTube for speaking out on 9/11 truth, there hacking my computer and following me around while I shop or ride my bike. This country needs an enema!! Immediately, lets start with Cheney.

Thank you. I am a pacifist, i think it would have to be done without violence and destruction, you know?

I appreciate your pacifism and would to God that all were pacifist, but the only way to avoid a violent revolution is to foment a nonviolent one as quickly as possible.
