I wouldn't say censored, but certainly stifled, or just plain deliberately left out. Major mainstream media outlets are owned and funded by major lobby money. They know "on which side their bread is buttered." And, a very few elite corporations own just about all the media outlets these days. I do believe that these media companies are no longer interested in reporting "just the facts, ma'am." They're huge businesses, and can and are influenced by influxes of cash, and the courts of public opinion.

The media has failed to mention any of a host of relevant issues concerning his politics, such as those outlined on this site: http://dneiwert.blogspot.com/2007/11/ron-paul-and-his-followers.html The media hasn't mentioned at all his strong neo-nazi following, his strong white supremacist following, his desire to eradicate national institutions like public schools, his crazy "new world order" conspiracy theories, or the racist statements he used to put out in his mailings to supporters. They haven't just failed to criticize him for it, they have failed to even MENTION it. The only place to find this information is online. So no, he isn't being censored by the media, he is actually being supported by them. Whether it's by intent or by sheer laziness, I don't know.
