Got a "following too closely" ticket in Louisville, KY. Apparently 92.4 feet behind the car in front of me and going 63 MPH is "too closely" in KY. Any chance of getting this ticket dismissed?

I dont know about US Law, but I would definetly appeal. In the UK, most drivers go by the 2 second rule, ie. leaving a 2 second gap between you and the car infront. 2 seconds would not produce a gap of 92 feet. It would be much smaller than that. good luck fighting your ticket.

Were you involved in an accident? you failed to mention this in your question. What was the posted speed limit and how fast were you going? All these questions will have a bearing on the validity of the traffic citation.
